Where to Find Great Coupons

Not sure where you should be looking for the best coupons? The list below should be a great guide to help you start!

1. The Newspaper-

The Sunday paper is normally filled with coupons and coupon inserts. If you want to know ahead of time what inserts to expect for that week, click here for the preview. If you see coupons you like you can make sure to pick up an extra paper that day or in my case I collect all the coupon inserts from relatives and a  local business that doesn't use them. I tend to be a little bit of a coupon snob.

2. Printable Coupon Websites-

These are my favorite because you get to print just the coupons you want and they frequently change. Watch for coupons that may have a print limit – you may only be able to print so many or you may miss out b/c others have printed them all. It's best to print a coupon you see you want right away.

Here are some of my favorites:
Coupons.com

Red Plum

Smart Source

Coupon Database - check this to see if any product that you want to purchase has a coupon available at the current time.

Bricks

3. Store Coupons -

Some stores have their own coupons which can be stacked with manufacturer coupons. Pay attention to the type of coupon it is and know the store coupon policy.

Stores with Coupons

Target- These are printable coupons

Walgreens- Walgreens has a monthly coupon book which can be picked up in-store. They also have weekly in-ad coupons.

Make sure to also check weekly grocery store ads for coupons which include: Pick N Save and Festival Foods.

4. Manufacture Websites-

Go straight to the website of the product you are interested. You might have to sign-up for a weekly newsletter to get a coupon. If you start doing this I recommend opening a free email account that you use for couponing only. This way you won't bog down your regulary used email account.

If you don't see any coupons on their website, send them an email and let them know how much you enjoy thier product and ask to be placed on an mailing lists they have for special offers. I can't tell you how many times I have done this and a few days later an envelope full of coupons appeared in my mailbox.

Here are a few great sites:

Betty Crocker

Pillsbury

5. In stores-

Look for coupon machines when you walk in the door or the smaller ones in the aisles. Also look for peelies on products!Look around!  Keep your eyes open!

6. Facebook-

Lately this has been a hot spot. Become a fan (or “like”) your favorite brands and you can usually get coupons. We will post when these become available.

7. Magazines -

All You is my FAVORITE magazine. They usually have great coupons in them. Grab one when you check out at Walmart next time to see what you think. I have also found great coupons in Weight Watchers and FamilyFun magazines.

8. Your receipt-

Remember that roll of paper they hand you at the bottom of your receipt? Usually you can find lots of great coupons on there that are based on what you just purchased. Sometimes they are in-store coupons, sometimes manufacturer coupons.

9. Samples-

Many of the free sample offers that you sign up for will come with a coupon for that product.
